Hardware Test Fixture / PCB Rework Technician

Overview

This work was performed in a vendor capacity while supporting the client’s engineering and operational teams.

Supported hardware test fixture maintenance by replacing interface PCB boards in reusable docking and validation fixtures. Assisted with restoring fixture readiness, verifying correct board installation, and supporting hardware validation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Replaced interface PCB boards in multiple reusable docking and hardware test fixtures.
• Disassembled and reassembled fixture components while maintaining mechanical alignment and connector integrity.
• Inspected PCB seating, connectors, fasteners, contact areas, and fixture condition.
• Followed ESD-safe hardware handling and controlled assembly procedures.
• Maintained consistent installation quality across multiple identical fixtures.
• Verified correct reassembly and readiness for subsequent engineering validation.
• Reported damaged or questionable components for further review.
